Pathways Book Club

Pathways Book Group meets on the second Monday of every month at Borders Books, Music, and Cafe, 4000 E. 53rd Street in Davenport, Iowa.  The group meets from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the reading lounge in the cafe.  Please visit our Events Calendar for this month's reading selection.

Pathways Book Group offers novices and labyrinth enthusiasts the opportunity to read and discuss the books that are defining the emerging field of labyrinth-related endeavor.  Participants are not required to have read the book prior to the meeting.  Our discussions are lively enough that you'll always learn something new!  Read the book before the discussion and bring your impressions, or read it afterward, inspired by the insights and input from the group.  Of course, sharing your labyrinth experiences is always welcome.  Pathways is the forum for labyrinth talk!

In 2007, Pathways offered "back-to-basics readings" with "Labyrinths 101: Setting a Firm Foundation for Walking Labyrinths."

In 2008, we are exploring a theme of personal journeys in our readings for "Labyrinths 201: Exploring Mystical Spirals, Spiritual Journey, and Magical Paths."

The 2009 theme is Labyrinths 301: Sacred Schooling.  These readings are fitting for the kinds of classes school children or liberal arts majors take to become "well-rounded" people: math, literature, humanities, history, philosophy, and physical education.

Pathways book selections are available for purchase on amazon.com or to borrow at your local library or through your inter-library loan system.
